Surf's Up Mystery Five-0 Registration

Quilters can register for Surf’s Up by making a qualifying purchase of $50 or more in-store or online. Eligible purchases include fabric, notions, precuts, patterns, and a Surf’s Up Voucher for future use. The voucher may be applied toward one of our curated Surf’s Up fabric kits for the best overall mystery experience. Please note that vouchers are not valid on classes or longarm services.

Both Surf’s Up quilt settings—Hang Ten and Riptide—finish at approximately 60" x 76" and feature the same beautiful fabrics. While the name may sound tropical, this is not a Hawaiian-themed quilt! Surf’s Up is a versatile mystery design that looks fantastic in a wide variety of fabric styles, allowing you to create a quilt that reflects your personal taste.

To make fabric selection easy, we’ll be offering multiple curated kit options designed specifically for this mystery. If you’d like to use fabrics from your own stash, watch for a fabric selection video in our Mystery Five-0 Facebook Group in June. The video will help you evaluate color, contrast, and fabric scale so you can confidently choose fabrics for a successful mystery quilting experience.

Here's What You Need to Know
Clues begin on July 1, with weekly emails guiding you through the mystery one step at a time. The final reveal, including both setting options, will be released on July 29.

Surf's Up uses 10 fabrics plus binding and offers two setting options:

• Hang Ten — 60" × 76"
• Riptide — 60" × 76"

Want to stitch along with friends? Join us for our Surf's Up Open Sit & Sew sessions every Wednesday in July from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Wildflower Quilt Co. Work on your weekly clue, connect with fellow participants, and enjoy dedicated sewing time. Space is limited, advance registration is required, and a registration fee applies for each session.
