Learn to Sew



This class will help you to learn how your machine works and how to sew with it. You will learn how to thread the machine, wind a bobbin, what the basic functions of your machine has and how to clean and maintain it. You will make two projects in this class, a tote bag and a pillow case.

Supplies To Bring:

- Sewing machine that works including cord and foot pedal
- New Spool of 50wt Thread
- Pins
- Scissors
- Rotary cutter
- 12.5’ X 6.5” ruler
- machine needles (size 80/12 Universal)

Class Refund Policy

 

We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel your class enrollment, please note the following:

 

Full Refund: Cancellations made 14 days or more before the class start date will receive a full refund.

 

Store Credit: Cancellations made within 14 days of the class start date will receive store credit only.

 

No-Shows: No refunds or credits will be issued for no-shows.

 

Instructor Cancellations: If Wildflower Quilt Co. must cancel a class for any reason, students will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to a future class.

 

Transfer Option: If space allows, students may transfer their registration to another class with advance notice.

Instructor Bio: I’ve been sewing since I was 11 and I enjoy making my own clothing, quilts and home dec occasionally! I find sewing to be relaxing and it is a great creative activity.
