Learn to Sew covers operating your sewing machine, learning about fabric, thread, different machine stitches, winding your bobbin, and threading your machine. You will also learn basic cutting skills. You will learn these skills while completing 3 projects: a tote bag, a pillow case, and a quilted table runner.
Bring the following supplies with you to each class.
- Sewing machine that works including:
- the power cord
- foot pedal
- bobbin
- manual for the machine
- Light gray or white thread
- Fabric scissors
- Straight pins (new),
- Seam ripper
- Note pad and pen
