Learn to Sew



This class will help you to learn how your machine works and how to sew with it. You will learn how to thread the machine, wind a bobbin, what the basic functions of your machine has and how to clean and maintain it. You will make two projects in this class, a tote bag and a pillow case. The projects will be in kits that are included in your class price.

Supplies:

- Sewing machine that works including cord and foot pedal
- CottonThread, new, 50 weight,
- pins
- scissors
- rotary cutter
- 12.5’ X 6.5” ruler
- machine needles (size 80/12 Universal)
- 1/4 yard of solid color cotton fabric for practice sewing.

Requirements: No sewing experience required.

Instructor Bio: I’ve been sewing since I was 11 and I enjoy making my own clothing, quilts and home dec occasionally! I find sewing to be relaxing and it is a great creative activity.
