Quilted Tamarack Jacket - Jan 4th and 11th
This is an Advanced class and you must have previously made a basic shirt or jacket.
The Class is two Saturdays for 5 hours each
Materials and Supplies
1. Your jacket will be made from a completed quilt or quilted fabric* at least 72" x 90".
2. Pattern Ease or Easy Pattern (optional)
*Additional options for the jacket are:
- Wide back fabric that has been long arm quilted prior to class 72 x 90" or 72 x 108"
- a combination of a couple of finished quilts
- batting in the quilt is student's preference
The important thing is that you come to class with at least One 72" x 90" finished (quilted) quilt as that is the material your jacket will be made from.
Additional Items to Bring to Class
- Basic sewing supplies. Pins, thread, scissors, rotary cutter, tape measure, thread and hand-sewing needle, fabric marking pen/pencil/chalk marker. Wonder clips.
- Sewing machine in full working order with a walking foot or dual feed mechanism.
- Sewing machine needles size 90/14, quilting or universal.
