Quilting 201 - Spring 2026

This four-week course will help to further your quilting skills. If you are someone who has been quilting for awhile or took our Quilting 101 course this class is for you. Quilting 201 will take you through the entire process of creating a quilt from start to finish. Using The Annie quilt pattern, you will learn how to select your fabric, read your pattern to make it understandable to you and create a quilting process that works for yourself. Techniques taught in this class will be perfecting your scant ¼” seam, cutting efficiently with your fabric, Chain piecing, and production sewing. The goal of this class is for you to have a completed quilt top by the end of your classes that is ready to be quilted.

| Requirements: | Materials Needed: - Sewing machine in good working order that you are familiar sewing on - Quarter-inch foot for your machine (strongly suggested) - Sewing pins - machine needles size 80/12 (universal or sharps) - Sharp fabric scissors - rotary cutter with new blade - cutting mat (large mats will be provided but, if you have a small one for you station you may bring it) - 6" x 12" or 6" x 18-24" ruler - Thread (Neutral Color) & bobbins for your machine - Paper and pen or pencil for note taking - Fabric according to the Pattern |
